Joint IEEE Section and IEEE UNL Student Chapter Meeting

Insuring Your Future

Speaker: John Curry, CPCU. John Curry, CPCU is an Agent and Registered Representative with the John Curry Agency Inc, an Independent Contractor Agency affiliated with the State Farm Insurance Companies. He has served the insurance and financial services needs of individuals and small business since 1988. John Curry graduated from the UNL with a major in Biology. He has NASD Series 6 and 63 licenses as well as personal property, commercial property, casualty, life, health, and annuities licenses. He obtained his Chartered Property and Casualty (CPCU) designation in 1998. Please feel welcome to ask questions at the meeting or to send emails requesting issues you would like the speaker to address.

Meeting Location: UNL Avery Hall, Room 115. Just east of Memorial Stadium, Lincoln, NE.

Sign in and Social hour: 5:30 P.M.

Dinner: 5:45 P.M.

Presentation & Questions: 6:00 - 7:00 P.M. A regular student chapter meeting will follow the presentation. Nebraska Section members are invited to attend the student meeting as well.

Meal Price: $10.00 plus $1.00 per hour parking at the Stadium parking garage located at 625 Stadium Drive. There are also parking meters a few blocks away.

Dinner Selections: Pizza and pop.

Sponsor: A sponsor for meeting door prizes is open.

Topic Overview: The speaker will be discussing insurance planning topics, such as protecting your assets from a catastrophic event, including a lawsuit, disability, and premature death.

This presentation is worth One (1) Professional Development Unit. Indicate your need for a PDH certificate during sign in at the meeting.
