Tour of Pedersen Power Products Speaker: John Salzmann: John Salzmann is National Sales Manager for Pedersen Power Products. Event Date: Thursday, March 30th, 2006 Meeting Location: The tour will be at Pedersen Power Products, 3900 Dahlman Avenue, Omaha, NE which is just north of the intersection of Dahlman and F Street. Take the F Street exit off of Highway 75 - Kennedy Freeway and proceed west to Dahlman Avenue. Turn right and proceed north to Pedersen. A dinner will follow the tour at Johnny's Cafe, 4702 South 27th Street, Omaha, NE. Tour Begins: 4:30 P.M. Social Time at Johnny's: 5:30 P.M. Dinner Served: 6:00 P.M. Meal Price and Selections:
IEEE Student meals are half-price ($10). All dinners include baked potato, salad, rolls, coffee, and tea. Sponsor: Open Topic Overview: The meeting will consist of a tour of Pedersen's manufacturing facility, which covers more than 100,000 square feet. Pedersen is a leading original equipment manufacturer of medium voltage metalclad switchgear, non-segregated phase bus duct, power control buildings, relay and control panels, and paralleling switchgear. Mr. Salzmann will have a brief presentation on the history of Pedersen after dinner at Johnny's. This presentation is worth One (1.0) Professional Development Units.
