IEEE Career and Membership Awareness Workshop

Speaker: Tarek Lahdhiri, Ph.D., P.E.: Dr. Lahdhiri received his BS, MS, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Control Systems. In 1998, Dr. Lahdhiri joined General Motors Corporation in Warren, Michigan, where he is currently holding the position of Lab Manager. He is in charge of the real-time synthesis, analysis, and simulation of vehicle control systems and subsystems. Dr. Lahdhiri is a licensed Professional Engineer. He is currently Region 4 Membership Development Chair, the Region 4 coordinator for the IEEE-USA Employment & Career Service Committee, and the Co-Chair of the IEEE-USA Career Workforce Policy Committee.

Topic Overview: The ultimate goal of this Seminar is to increase awareness among IEEE members about the benefits and products offered by the IEEE.
