E-WEEK BANQUET Speaker: Ken Patchett: Ken Patchett is responsible for the Operations Site Management of The Dalles, Oregon Googleplex, and is also assisting in the startup of the Council Bluffs, Iowa and Pryor, Oklahoma, data centers. Ken started his career in a Mechanical Engineering role for a pulp and paper manufacturing company before moving to an IT career with Compaq Computer Corporation. At Compaq, Ken ran the managed service delivery to the Microsoft Data Centers. He then moved to Microsoft as a Data Center manager and subsequently built the Global Network Operations team for MSN. He started with Google in December of 2006.
