Project Management Workshop
Speaker: Dr. A Tarek Lahdhiri: Dr. A Tarek Lahdhiri received his BS, MS, and Ph.D degrees in Electrical Engineering. Dr. Lahdhiri is currently employed as a manager by General Motors developing real-time simulation and testing environments for vehicle control systems. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan. He has authored and co-authored over 15 journal papers and 30 conference papers and his areas of interest include Systems Engineering, Control Systems, Real-Time Modeling and Simulation, Engineering Management, and Project Management. Dr. Lahdhiri has been an active member within the IEEE organization over the last 12 years. He is Region 4 Membership Development Chair, a Member of the IEEE-USA Employment & Career Service (ECS) Committee, and the Co-chair of the IEEE-USA Career Workforce Policy committee (CWPC).
Who should attend: The Project Management workshop is intended for engineers, technical leads, project leaders, and functional managers who want to practice the fundamentals of project management to help themselves and their groups accomplish their endeavors -- whether at work, in IEEE, at home, or in the community.
